Our last food hunt in prague ended with cafe savoy. Its supposedly is good for fruit dumplings (not 粽子, or wanton) but fruit wrapped up with flour and cooked. Well.. Its good for the first 2, after that? Hmmmmm.. Lucky we ordered another sandwich hahaha. But the drink was good. Wifey's chestnut coffee and my savoy hot chocolate is worth the trip here.En savoir plus

Wrapping up prague

And with the charles bridge in the distance, we wrap up our stop in prague. Prague is the city that we walked the most hahaha. We only took tram once during our 5 days here. Its slippery, its dirty, but the walk made us fitter and closer to each other lol (not because wifey's shoe is pretty slippery in the snow and thus have to hold me tight most of the time haha). We simply slow down our pace in prague and just chill. And that really helped in recovering from the rushing we felt in the previous legs. Tomorrow we are heading back to germany, first to nuremberg, then to frankfurt for our flight home. Bye prague!En savoir plus

We arrived at nuremberg after a 4 hours bus ride where i almost ended up vomiting cause i sat opposite wifey lol. The town area looks pretty medivial, but more thoughts to come lol

Albrecht-Dürer-Stube was closed, so we go around the corner of the road and head into this beer pub for some nice craft beer and a taste of tge nuremburg bratwurst. The beer is pretty good, not too strong and doesnt have a strong after taste. The sausage is kinda smaller than those we had eaten so far lol. Longest we had was at the prater in vienna. But it is yums, with the texture and inner filling felt handmade. The taste? Quite similar to the bratwurst we had actually.En savoir plus

Dinner at random restaurant

We ended uo having dinner at a random restaurant pillhofer that is 2 buildings away hahaha. Was pretty hungry and decided to go with this instead of burger king which is next to our hotel. The price wise, it sort of a matches the more atas food place in prague, the quality wise, perhaps we ate better food before so the chicken schnitzel and the pork Shoulder are so so only. But nevertheless, more german food before we return back to our chicken rice and wanton mee!En savoir plus

The restaurant that we attempted to go for dinner but closed since christmas eve lol. We made a booking yesterday night and here we are lol! There are lots of senior germans here at this time for lunch and its a pretty cosy place. Very homely i guess. And the food is fantastic. Its much better than the pork knuckle we had at the start of our honeymoon. This is roasted pork Shoulder with seasoned potatos and cracklings. The best combo? Eat the meat with the sweet red cabbages and its a taste you will never forget. Thats for me at least hahahah. But a good and satisfying meal nevertheless.En savoir plus

Our last castle

We took a random turn and went up to the castle thats located near to the restaurant. And we are glad that we did as we can see the birdseye view of the city. We took birdseye view of all the cities we have been to so far, how can we missed nuremburg? But this chance is by God's blessing. If we never randomly decide to head up and see see, and continue to go deeper despite it looks closed, we will never be able to capture our last city view. Amen!En savoir plus

A church with a interesting seating design that we have never seen before so far. And with this, we pretty much wrapped up our nuremberg stay. Its not a place that we had intended to come (we wanted to go dresden, but since from prague, you gota stop at nuremberg to change transport to go to other parts of germany from our route direction, thus we stayed here for 2 nights) but its a nice little rest stop for us before we head back to frankfurt to catch our flight soon. Its a bit sad, as i dun feel like going home hahaha. Its fun and nice to be able to travel around with wifey, and to have new experiences and go to new places with her. But oh well, hopefully we get to travel at the year end again :pEn savoir plus

Time flies, its been 25 days since we left frankfurt. We came back here for our flight home tomorrow. It seems like yesterday where i thought to myself, that we are left with 25 days to go for our honeymoon lol. So much experiences and memories, and esp learning how to love each other better. We didnt see it at the beginning, guess its good that we catch it at the end. We went up to the observation platform of the frankfurt main tower (ard 200m high) and see the city from a high point. It was super windy that i felt i could be blown away anytime. It was cold too, but it was the best place to catch the view of the entire city.En savoir plus

Random pavilion

Maybe we didnt see this temporary architectural pavilion when we are too focus into the christmas markets, but when everything christmas is cleared, this is pretty nice stuff. Made out of thick playwoods and fibre glass panels, this is beauty at its simplest form. And its God's blessing that we found this by chance, as we were pretty tired and need a place to kill time while waiting for dinner place to open. So.... Besides drinking coffee, we played jenga hahahhaa. There are games on all tables, but no one was interested in it. Except us lol. In the end, almost everyone looked at us while we are having fun haha. And this random out of the blue stop gave us some relieve from the cold.En savoir plus

We headed to the restaurant, which was recommendee by our first airbnb host, alexander. Its a typical german pub like tavern that serves authentic bravaria food. Somehow i feel abit dissappointed, as it doesnt have the pork knuckles that i craved for. But oh well. I ordered a rolled beef and wifey got the schnitzel with bacon, cheese, apple slices and cranberry sauce. Top with a sunny side up with runny yoke lol. And i am glad it tastes better than mine lol. Well, today will be the last night we spend in frankfurt technically lol. As tomorrow night will be spend in the airport waiting for our flight at 9pm. So soon, ends our honeymoon. Its always a dread to go back home after a holiday, and it feels the same for us. During this trip, it really lets us explore new things and places, gain new experience and in a way, how to live life together as a husband and wife. This trip is not only about fun, but about building us up with the help of God. I thank God for everything that He has given to us, and i thank God for bringing wifey to me. Amen.
