Einmal Check in 🛂, Gepäck aufgeben 🛄, Andreas und Auto zu Hause abliefern und dann wieder zurück zum Flughafen. Im Hinterkopf immer schon das Wissen, dass am Abflugsdisplay nur „delayed“ und keine Uhrzeit steht.
Und dann endlich - lange nach unserer Abflugszeit landet das Flugzeug. Jetzt nur mehr alles auf Vordermann bringen und dann gehts um 15:15 endlich los. 🛫En savoir plus

💬 The Rock of Dunamase is an imposing and magnificent example of a Celtic fortification overlooking the valley of the O’Moores, just outside Portlaoise, County Laois.
The site of an early Christian settlement pillaged by the Vikings in 842, Dunamase became one of the most important Anglo-Norman strongholds in Laois. It was part of the dowry of Aoife, the daughter of Diarmuid Mac Murrough, King of Leinster, when she was given in marriage to the Norman conqueror Strongbow in 1170. When Isabel, the daughter of Strongbow and Aoife, wed William Marshal, Earl of Pembroke, Dunamase was given as part of her marriage's wedding gift. 💬En savoir plus

The Kenmare Stone Circle is the biggest stone circle in the south-west of Ireland. Stone circles, were, built, during, the Bronze age (2,200 - 500BC) for ritual and ceremonial purposes. Some studies have indicated that they were orientated on certain solar and lunar events, such as the position of the sun on the horizon on a solstice.
The Kenmare example may be orientated on the setting sun. In the centre of the circle is a type of burial monument known as a Boulder Burial.
These are rarely found outside of south-western Ireland.En savoir plus

considered a goddess of sovereignty, giving the kings the right to rule their lands. According to legend, she
had seven periods Of youth one after another so that every man who had lived with her came to die of old
age. Her grandsons and great-grandsons were so many that they made up entire tribes and races and as a
