Sintra is where the ultra wealthy would escape to during the hot Lisbon summers. It's filled with palaces, castles and chateaus from the 19th century and before. It's truly magical.

Yep, the spa has a snow grotto in addition to a thermal pool, hot tub, steam room, two saunas with plunge pools, and a device that dumps a bucket of cold water on your head when you pull a chain. IЧитать далее

We were informed yesterday afternoon that it is not possible to port at Bermuda due to gale force winds and high seas. We have turned south for smoother water and headed for Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. AЧитать далее

Medical Emergency Stopping Nassau

The big white Norwegian Cruise ship in the photo has over 4200 passengers and nearly twice as many crew as we have passengers.
ПутешественникBut they do have a water slide, roller coaster, and probably 2000 screaming children.
So sorry you have to miss all the amenities that those 4200 people get to experience, especially the screaming children!!! [Barbara Ladd]

ПутешественникWell, the camera angle also makes it look like I ate half a fish! Viking does emphasize food and drink, but I already needed to lose weight so I'm on it now for sure!
ПутешественникCan you get good coffee beans in Sumatra? They grow some great coffee there.
