Sintra is where the ultra wealthy would escape to during the hot Lisbon summers. It's filled with palaces, castles and chateaus from the 19th century and before. It's truly magical.

The big white Norwegian Cruise ship in the photo has over 4200 passengers and nearly twice as many crew as we have passengers.
GezginBut they do have a water slide, roller coaster, and probably 2000 screaming children.
So sorry you have to miss all the amenities that those 4200 people get to experience, especially the screaming children!!! [Barbara Ladd]

GezginWell, the camera angle also makes it look like I ate half a fish! Viking does emphasize food and drink, but I already needed to lose weight so I'm on it now for sure!
GezginCan you get good coffee beans in Sumatra? They grow some great coffee there.
