I'm fedup with being in the city already.. Always searching for a place to park, always people noises around me, no possibility to just walk outside with Floki.. I always have to drive somewhere quiet first.. 3 more weeks to go here and I am counting the days..

TravelerHeb je je volgende plek - niet in een stad - al gevonden? Dit lijkt me heel onprettig voor jou en Floki. Wel gaaf altijd vind ik de kracht en onstuimigheid van de zee.

Poor Floki

Today we went to the beach for a long walk which was really nice but in the afternoon I saw that Floki's paw was swollen and I noticed he felt warm to the touch as well. I went to the Farmacia to get a digital thermometer but luckily he doesn't have a fever. And he is not limping either so I think he just did a misstep on the rocks.. So now I am cooling it and keeping an eye on him. And I have to lift him into the car so he doesn't make it worse by jumping in.Read more

TravelerHij lijkt er vrij weinig last van te hebben. Met arnica tabletjes die de eigenaresse van dit huisje voor ons heeft gehaald (hoe lief) en koelen is de zwelling vandaag ook een stuk minder, dus we zijn vandaag ook weer aan zee gaan lopen (waar ik echt even een uur kan wandelen met hem). Dus fijn!

Casarano

I left the lovely secluded place in Miccisi and went to Casarano. After booking it I received the exact address and turns out it's in the middle of a town. Exactly what I don't like and obviously Floki is more nervous as well because there are people and cars and dogs and cats..
I have found a place to walk him peacefully on the edge of town and I found a place next to the sea where we can walk as well. It's a 20 minute drive but at least we can walk there in peace.
We're staying here for one month and after that I'll have to see what's next. The weather is getting better so I might start camping again so I can save some money at least.Read more

Nice weather at least

I got some really bad news. The courts verdict was in and it looks like I'm going to loose all my savings.. I'm really angry and sad and I don't know where to go from here..

Calabria for a month

Today we traveled all the way to Calabria to our new place where we will stay for a month. I was really happy when I got here, because the house is not close to neighbors, it is on a piece of private land so there are no people walking around here and there is an entrance to the beach right in front of my door.Read more

New location

Yesterday night a fox came and wanted to steal Floki's leash which was attached to the car. I had to go down and put the leash inside. Today we had a 4 hour drive to our new location where we will stay until Sunday. It looks nice, outside there is a view of the sea. Pretty windy here though but it's good.Read more

Very very cold at night

I discovered that it's not camping weather yet, I had a very cold night and barely slept. Luckily today the sun came out to play a bit so I'm warming up again. Tonight I will try again with an extra blankie and tomorrow I'm traveling more South to another bnb with a lot of thanks to my mom ♥️Read more

I arrived at Casa Linda today and I booked only one night, but it is very nice and the surroundings are peaceful so I asked if I could stay longer. So I will stay here until Sunday.
