TravelerIk heb water bij Milan vandaan gehaald.. 20 liter.. Net wat water gekookt en in een teiltje gedaan en koud water erbij en met een washandje gewassen hoor.. Nu fris het bedje in.. 😊

Been out

Today I went to IKEA to get some stuff.. A trashcan, bathmats, a drying rack for my dishes and a frying pan so I can make pancakes which is very important to me as most of you know..
While getting diesel at a gas station some guy approached me and said he loved ny car and has a wrangler himself. He lived in Amsterdam for a while.. Was nice meeting another offroader!
After I got back the water was back! Hooray!
Floki and me went for a walk twice and with the sun setting I had an amazing view of the mountain... It's like a painting 😍
I also did some cleaning so the bathroom is nice now, the other bathroom is ok and the floors are less dirty.. A pretty fulfilling day all in all..Read more

Lazy Sunday

I walked with Floki a few times today and it was pretty misty today.. Can't even see the mountain.. In the afternoon I joined Milica for some tea and pita and apple pita and she asked me to come back later for dinner... Apparently that was at 16.00 today and I was still walking with Floki at that time.. So they started without me but after my walk and feeding Floki I could eat in peace which was really nice 😁
I need to go to the pet store later to get something to protect Floki from ticks. They are attacking him constantly and I don't like to pull them out.. It's a shit job and I can never get the whole tick out..Read more

Ok day I guess

Today I got up a bit late and went for a nice walk with Floki. After that I worked and did another walk during sunset and that gave me some very pretty views again! Check the pics..
After the walk Milan picked me up and we went to the shopping center nearby to get some pills for Floki and then we did a quick lap around the shops.. Very nice.. And I bought myself some slippers for inside.. Yes I put a picture Chantal!

Yesterday I forgot to post the same mountain with a different sunset, so I will do it now.

Yesterday Milan asked if I would join him to meet with his lawyer just to get me out of the house a bit. So I went and he took me for cake first. That was delicious..

Today I went with Milan and Milica to a dance performance with their kids in it. It was really nice to be invited and to see a bit of Serbian culture.
After that we dropped off Milica and the kids and Milan and me went back home. He had some food for me as always and it was delicious.

Getting into New Year's spirit

Today we walked and then walked some more and then I wanted to bake some 'oliebollen'..
I don't have any kitchen scales or measuring cups here so I had to make the recipe just guessing..
So I thought the dough was a but too thin but I never made 'oliebollen' before so I don't actually know. I let it rise but it rose more than I expected so the dough was coming out of the pan on it's own... Next challenge was how to know the oil is hot enough to start baking.. Also a guess.. But all in all I think I did it.. They look like 'oliebollen', they smell like 'oliebollen' and who would have thought they taste like 'oliebollen' as well!Read more

On my walk today with Floki there were two guys sitting enjoying the view of the mountain. It was a miracle that they spoke English so I had a little chat. One of the guys thought I was Russian 😂

Snakesssss

I forgot to put yesterday that Floki found a snake at the back of the house. He was beautiful and slid slowly back into a crack of the house when Floki tried to sniff him. Apparently there are no poisonous snakes here so it's all good.
Today we had 2 nice walks again but it is freezing here. I did get a nice sunset again as you can see in the picture..Read more

New years was lonely, but ok.. There was a bit of fireworks here, but not a lot. The last few days we did a lot of walking and today we were walking in the snow. I was a human popsicle and Floki was a dogsicle, but it was pretty and quiet.

Today is Floki's birthday. 3 years old now..
We went for a shorter walk today because yesterday I made a mistake cutting his toenails and one of them I cut too short so he was bleeding. Poor Flook...
On the walk we saw 5 quads enjoying a ride in the snow. Floki got very anxious but they passed us slowly and everything was ok.Read more

Car trouble

I needed to get some groceries so I cleaned off 50 cm of snow from my car and shat my pants because I have never driven in snow like this before.. So I got stuck on the driveway and decided to put my car in low gear and then it was peanuts! Absolutely love my car! So I decided to drive a bit on the highway first to make sure the battery is full and on the way back it went in limp mode again!! So I found a mechanic and the air filter was soaked, probably melted snow inside.. He fixed it and charged me 150 euro... Probably screwed me over but what can I do..Read more
