    Today I used the free time to visit Juzizhou Island in the middle of the Xiangjiang River. Basically this is like a green park. It used to be a customs station. Main attraction nowadays is a huge statue of young Mao. Unfortunately this is under construction at the moment. But anyhow I would not have recognized this as Mao. In spite of bad weather the island was flooded by visitors. Another example for overtourism.Read more
