We have arrived!

This afternoon we finally arrived in Stockholm. A balmy 4C day greeted us as we stepped out of the airport into the fresh air. It was so nice to be cold for a change that we didn’t mind at all, until we did and we promptly zipped up our fleece jackets and summoned an Uber. On the way into Stockholm small pockets of old snow, brown unrecognisable trees still in winter hibernation and evergreen pines adorned the roadside. As we drove into Stockholm proper we noticed ice on the city’s waterways, more like a grey coloured slushie really. At the hotel a very friendly Swede by the name of Rikard greeted us and checked us in, offering to help us any way he could, apologised for the lack of what he called proper winter and snow and also gave us a room upgrade. The best part of our wonderful room has to be the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Enough said for now with a few pictures to tell the tale.Okumaya devam et
