What a hell of a bus ride - worst bus ride ever. As a big festival (Dashain) was coming up, everyone was trying to leave the Kathmandu Valley to go to their families and the roads were accordingly full. We were very lucky to get bus tickets at all, but had to sit next to the driver in the driver's cabin with 2 other people and no air conditioning. Normally it takes 6-7 hours to cover a distance of 200 km, but it took us 12 hours!!! But we were just happy to leave the hectic Kathmandu and meet our dear and strong friends from the trek again.Weiterlesen
