Day 10 Dzongla - Cho La Pass - Ngozumpa Glacier - Gokyo

First pass day. Woke up at 4am, started at 5am, caught the first rays of sun one our later on our way to the pass, climbed steep up, walked over a glacier and reached after 2,5h the top of the pass at 5.400m altitude. We thought that we have already passed the biggest and most exhausting part of our way today, but the way to Gokyo was still far and kind of never ending - another smaller pass at 5.100m altitude, a looong way down through a valley to Dragnag, our lunch spot and a never ending way through the longest glacier of Nepal, the Ngozumpa Glacier. The Ngozumpa Glacier is located below the sixth highest mountain in the world “Cho Oyu” and is 36km long.
