Guided tour around Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City today.

Tiananmen Square can hold up to one million people and has a portrait for Chairman Mao still.

The Forbidden City was where the previous emperors lived prior to the revolution. It is huge. The last emperor of China lives an interesting life: - Emperor at 3
- Deposed at 6
- Lived in the Forbidden City for 13 years
- Then ran away to Manchuria and formed a puppet government supported by the Japanese
- Captured by the USSR and sent to a Siberian gulag for 5 years after the world war 2
- Extradited to China and sent to jail for 9 years under Mao
- Released and worked in the Beijing botanical gardens
- Died at 61 from stomach cancer
