Day #140 China

We did a walking tour around the French Concession area of Shanghai in the morning. We learnt a lot about the history of China and Shanghai and why the French had their own bit - following the Opium War(s), they wanted to be separate from the British bit.

There are some lovely villa style houses that were for French people who lived there originally, but are now shared housing and it's really expensive.

In the evening, we went for a meal with a view of the skyline, which was cool.Read more
