Day #148 Kyrgyzstan (part 1)

Started with a traditional breakfast in the guesthouse and then set off to Barksoon Waterfall. We hiked to the waterfall, which was pretty nice. Shaun did some more hiking whilst I waited. The area was beautiful, with the river and mountains. There's also a memorial to Yuri Gagarin because he trained in the area before going into space.

After the waterfall, we stopped at Lake Issyk-Kul briefly. It is the largest lake whose deepest point is at the highest point above sea level. It is huge.Leggi altro
