There is a lady in the village who rings the church bells 3 times a day.
We got up early this morning to see the few cows be led to pasture, so we heard the 6 am bells

A few families still have a milk cow or two. They are herded to a pasture in the morning and come home at night.

Several ladies are baking a dessert called chimney cake. It is a thin pastry wrapped around a stick and baked.

After a day in the field the cows came home and were milked
It reminded me of Sunday evenings in Iowa when we went to the dairy farm to watch the cows be milked
