Mount Rouse Lookout
4. Februar in Australien ⋅ ☁️ 19 °C
Mount Rouse itself was an interesting spot, ex-volcano with a lake in the crater. But, I didn't get any photos of itself, whoops. Instead it was the first glimpse of the Grampians, in the distance.
Port Fairy
4. Februar in Australien ⋅ ⛅ 12 °C
Such a cute little town and I was obsessed with how clear the water was. There was a nice walk around a Shearwater Bird Sanctuary on a semi-attached island called Griffiths Islands.
Flagstaff Hill Night Show
3. Februar in Australien ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C
I judged this show way too early and harshly. I was expecting it to be a little cringe when Alex and I first discussed it in our planning... But I thought it was really fun and interesting and theyWeiterlesen
Hopkins Falls
3. Februar in Australien ⋅ ☀️ 30 °C
Quick stop to check out this former lava flow, now a small river and falls. I was hoping to see the platypus but definitely not the right time of day for any hope of that.

Biggest collection of Australian Made spirits. We stopped here for lunch and a little tipple.
Loch Ard Gorge
3. Februar in Australien ⋅ ☀️ 19 °C
Named after the ship wreck that happened at these cliffs and the story of a young male and female survivors. A story that later that night I'll find out is important.
Twelve Apostles
3. Februar in Australien ⋅ ☀️ 16 °C
Really could post 100 photos of the apostles. We started with the first lookout just before the main one. No people but a little further away. But even at the main view point we arrived before all theWeiterlesen
Blanket Bay
3. Februar in Australien ⋅ ☀️ 14 °C
After picking up some bakery for breakfast in Lorne, we headed out to Blanket Bay to eat it. A beautiful location to have a very tasty curry scallop pie. Yes, for breakfast. The drive was reallyWeiterlesen
Teddy's Lookout
2. Februar in Australien ⋅ ☀️ 17 °C
Kookaburra's featured heavily in this short walk, from the beginning to the end. Someone left them some bread roll to eat. Which even though not healthy for them, have us a great opportunity to watchWeiterlesen
Live Wire Park
2. Februar in Australien ⋅ ☀️ 16 °C
Juanes really enjoyed his time here. With a huge zip line that goes around and in between trees. Then he wanted to go on the climbing wall, but to do that apparently they make you do the whole fiveWeiterlesen
Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch

Going round the twist?
2. Februar in Australien ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C
The Split Point Lighthouse which was the air for the Round the twist show. A significant and old Lighthouse in its own right, and no where near big enough to live in at all, so some TV trickeryWeiterlesen
Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie
2. Februar in Australien ⋅ ⛅ 15 °C
A must stop to grab some snacks on the way. Especially if you arrive before the buses, which ofcourse Alex's planning always does. We had to grab some hot chocolate to make at one of our BnBs and IWeiterlesen
Bells Beach
2. Februar in Australien ⋅ ⛅ 14 °C
Is it wrong to have expected more? I am not sure why, but it's one of those famous beaches you hear about all your life and for some reason I was expecting something a little more grand. But I guessWeiterlesen
Surf Coast Museum
1. Februar in Australien ⋅ 🌬 18 °C
Before travelling the surf coast, we thought it was a good opportunity to learn about it first. This was actually quite a decent walk through of the history of the sport. Interesting to see theWeiterlesen
Torquay Tigermoth Flights
1. Februar in Australien ⋅ 🌬 18 °C
Alex and Juanes got a sneak peak at the Great Ocean Road before me by going up in a 1930s WWII open cockpit Tigermoth which included acrobatics.
Geelong
1. Februar in Australien ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C
It was a very quick stop here, enough to see the beach, go around the Ferris Wheel and have a fresh cinnamon doughnut. Almost got trapped by a cycle race that was on at the same time, but thankfullyWeiterlesen
Eau de Vie
31. Januar in Australien ⋅ ☁️ 20 °C
A not-so-secret speakeasy for more cocktails. A bit posh and classy but clearly the people that go there aren't adventurous with their drink choices... Our smoking, bubbling, flaming drinks were veryWeiterlesen
Storyville - Fantasy Cocktail Bar
31. Januar in Australien ⋅ ☁️ 24 °C
Storyville takes you to a world of escapism and fantasy. The current theme for cocktails was Disney princesses... I've never had that much dry ice smashed down and sprayed onto me.
Luna Park
31. Januar in Australien ⋅ ☁️ 23 °C
We had to take Juanes on the World's Oldest Continually Running Roller-coaster, of course lol. It was a cute place, I preferred it over the Sydney one. And we got there when it was opening so it wasWeiterlesen
