Coast to Coast

Well, this did not exactly go to plan. It was a dinner followed by a drone and laser show. It started with some canapes while we watched and waited for the sun to set. But that's unfortunately where the problems started, as it was still very overcast and the clouds made the colours that you would get in a sunset completely moot. Then we were given picnic baskets filled with the dinner party of the evening, but that's also when the wind started to increase. So it was already getting difficult to eat out of the picnic basket when, while we were trying to be explained by one of the chefs what was in there, another person was giving out ponchos because it was about to rain. So not only was it windy, and the rain was coming, we now don't know what we are eating either. They then cancelled the drone show as it was too windy, but continued with the laser show, which was an interesting story and they did it well... But it wasn't the experience we wanted, sitting in the cold and rain with plastic ponchos flapping in the wind eating wet food.Leggi altro
