    The beaches around Sydney are crazy beautiful, can’t wait to travel around and see the less crowded places as well. We are sorting out our plans and spending some time with the Hostel friends, exchanging ideas. We are looking for a 🚐 but it isn’t easy finding the one.     Life lately

    Tatatat we got the car! It wasn’t easy but Adam did a great job and we got a good deal, and a good car. 👏🏻🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
    We’d like to make a few changes on it, so we will see when we can start to Cairns, Queensland. In the mean time we walked and shopped around. Really enjoying our time in Sydney. We visited the fish market & went to the opera house to see the musical “miss Saigon” it was fantastic!Leggi altro

    It’s been a week, nothing much is happening here. We are on a drop zone, Adam is making a packer B course, and he did his first jump here. 👏🏻
    There is a small cafe where I got to work a few days. The hourly rate on the weekend is great. 👍🏻
    The people are really nice, we are having fun. Next week we will spend a few days in Sydney again. Meeting friends and going to the store to get few things for the Van🚐.🫶🏼
    The weather is pretty chaotic but it’s alright, we did a short hike yesterday to see some wild kangaroos, they are really fun animals sadly we saw just one from far away. 😕🦘    Leggi altro

    Hi everyone! It’s been 3weeks, since the last post. The days go by really fast. 😅
    We have been working, but then we spend the last week on the road, up to the Gold Coast. The weather is spring like, it’s been raining a bit but when the sun is out it’s really hot.
    We visited another koala hospital, where we got to learn about their habits.🫶🏼
    Spend some time at the beach, Adam went for a quick snorkeling trip, the ocean has approximately 20 degrees, it’s way too cold for me. We visited the blue mountains national park, it was really nice.    Leggi altro

    Picton and surrounding

    Hello everyone, it’s been a while.
    I’ll continue with the things we did in December.
    We got really into hikes lately, went on a few trips with friends. We got to spend Christmas in a great family home where we had to keep an eye on the budgie for 5 weeks since his owners went back to the Uk.
    We are really enjoying our time in Picton, working really hard to get enough money into the savings account. We will probably go to Melbourne in a few weeks.    Leggi altro

    Bushrangers bay

    This is the place to be if you want to see the grey nurse sharks in their natural environment/ habitat. There are only 200 pieces of them around the coast.
    They say that they are the “labradors” of the sea, I quite doubt that but they were really friendly and fun to swim with.
    Next to Wollongong city beach this is our favorite place to go for a dip.    Leggi altro

    Sorry mom

    Since we are basically living on a drop zone, there was only a matter of time for me to try Skydiving.🪂
    Everyone was so happy to be able to do this with me, and they all came along for this adventure of a lifetime.
    We had the perfect jump day, it started with a rainbow, Gin the king wasn’t that happy but it but in the end it all worked out well.

    Kiama & Jervis bay

    We are one the road to Melbourne since almost a week now, we made a lovely stop in Kiama had a really good seafood basket with chips, and walked around the city. Then we arrived in jervis bay which was really nice, the booderee national park with the campground was great.
    Between the pictures there is one with the footprint of a kangaroo 🦘, and a huntsman spider it’s quite common.    Leggi altro

    Narooma

    25–28 feb 2024, Australia ⋅ ☀️ 24 °C

    Narooma is a lovely little town where you can go to Montague Island for a dive or snorkel trip, the seals from New Zealand 🇳🇿and Australia 🇦🇺 both love to chill around and give birth to pups.
    We have seen a lot of baby seals and got to play with them in the ocean. 🌊 🦭
    We spent 3 nights in the camping and now we are on the road again. ⛺️
    The bird on the first picture is a kookaburra, native Australian, Hungarian name for him is “Kacagójancsi”.
    On the third picture we are standing in front of the Australian rock, they say the hole looks like the continent.    Leggi altro

    Melbourne

    3–6 mar 2024, Australia ⋅ ☁️ 21 °C

    We are in Melbourne.. it’s a good city but until now I like Sydney more.
    There are nice graffiti’s everywhere, hidden bars, and restaurants.
    The weather is quite strange, you can experience all the seasons in one day.
    We wanted to learn more about the aboriginal people and culture so we went to the museum, sadly it was the wrong one. 😅    Leggi altro

    Tasmania

    We took the ferry from Geelong to Devonport, it was a 10 hours long trip.
    We have our lovely Van with us so will we be traveling around Tassie for 2 weeks.🚐
    After the beach day and the little penguin watching on the shore, we are already in the mountains and went on a short hike, there are wombats, pademelons, kangaroos, platypus and echidnas, we are looking forward to see them all. 🙈Leggi altro

    G’day everyone, we are still cruising around Tasmania, we try to visit as much national parks as we can / mostly because of Adam/ just joking the views are amazing and the hikes are worth it. 😁🤭
    Visited the oldest bridge of Australia, which was built by prisoners.

    Hey y’all, we are on the gold side, the weather is getting warmer every day since we are heading north.
    Life is easy on the beach they say and it really is, not much going on with us recently just enjoying the beach. Reading a lot of books, and planning all the trips ahead of us.

    Did a great walking tour in Brisbane and visited the Australia zoo which is owned by the Irwin family, Steve Irwin was the 🐊 hunter on tv, they had a great show in the park and I got to meet a koala.

    Cairns

    Hello 👋🏽

    We started working at cairns skydivers, at the land of sugar cane and bananas. 🍌 🪂
    The weather is very tropical with a lot of showers during the day, and it gets pretty hot when the sun comes out. The ocean is nice warm,cannot wait to go for a snorkeling tour and search for Nemo at the Great Barrier Reef. 🪸
    We will spend the next few months here exploring the area of far north Queensland.    Leggi altro
