• Climbing to Saana

    August 29, 2025 in Finland ⋅ ☁️ 8 °C

I climbed to Saana which is some 1029 meters above the sea level.

Must say that walking today didn't feel good. It's just that the main hike is over and the mind is telling me to relax, which I've been doing, but still I don't want to rest several days. I can do that at home. It took over an hour of hiking and climbing before I felt ok again.

It was a cloudy day which was fine for the climb which was quite hard. Sun started to shine in late afternoon, but that would have made this even heavier climb. The view is fantastic from the top. Even on cloudy weather.

Climbing Saana was much easier than Halti as there's even stairs built on the beginning of the climb and even upper parts of the fell have a clear path compared to Halti where there was no path.
