The scariest night of camping to date! We spent two hours from 12:30-2:30am in a tornado shelter. Thankfully the weather didn’t end up as bad as predicted. Phew. And home.

Another successful trip to Brevard.
Jeff spent the day on the river and the girls and I hiked North Slope.
A couple of days of reading in the woods while it rained. A peaceful reprieve. Oh and the coolest camp toaster!!
A great day on the Davidson, a nice return to Thrift Cove and the hub!
This trip we changed up our halfway point. Since we left in the afternoon we drove to the Kentucky border. Nice and easy overnight.
We hiked, fished, Tyson biked then we brought in the new year at the site for our last night. Happy Mew Year! Here’s to a year of simply life.
