    Wisconsin!

They sure do love their mosquitoes in Wisconsin! Black River Falls rustic camping would be so beautiful in the Fall!

    ND Boondocking!

All to ourselves. A great change from yesterday’s field of campers. We watched a bunch of storks fish and carp spawn. The girls were off leash and ran it out!

    West Glacier

This is officially vacation! This is when the planning started. The time before was getting us here. Today we hiked and bikes and Jeff jumped into Lake McDonald. This campground is so great! 1/2 mile walk down a trail of pines to the lake…a bike trail too. This is what we wanted last time we were here. Thankfully no fires this time!

Where’s the pic of Jeff in the lake? Was it as cold as Lake Michigan as this time of year?

St. Marys Lake & Camp, East Glacier

We drove the Going to the Sun road during a storm. It had a bunch of construction that probably hurt Cassidy a bit and the fog at the top of the pass was a little scary. We made it to our camp and took in the after storm views. Such a vast difference in terrain from Apgar. More rustic. More our style. Today we hiked 6 miles of St. Mary’s Lake to three waterfalls. Such a beauty.

    Waterton Winds!

We made it to Alberta and the Peace Park, Waterton/Glacier! The only NP that connects over two countries. We had a great view but it was super windy. We made the most of it. Lily was tweaking out at all the prairie dogs and Fox hopped around the campground like they were bunnies in Michigan.

    Banff!

Banff! It’s still a cool place to be. This trip it was wet instead of smoky…very Humboldty.

The last picture is us watching it snow while cuddling and watching a movie.

So thankful that Canada has some dog friendly National Parks! They also provide firewood! It’s illegal to remove firewood from a park so when they cut trees down they just pile it for campers!

    Jasper is a Jewel.

Ahhhh, Jasper. This is my favorite spot so far. It has hiking, a cute town, an amazing entrance (icefields), a great campground full of elk and a brewery too! It was so great! A destination for sure.

    Grande Prairie. RV park…laundry.

We left Jasper and came here for laundry. Nothing great. A hot evening in a mediocre RV park. The scenic pic was a rest stop on highway 40.

    Yukon!

Yukon! We toured the sign post forest and took in all the views. Kluane NP is just amazing. A great rustic campground on Kluane lake for the second night. The first night was an rv park that you see often on the Alcan. Nothing special but cheap. We noticed the long day while sleeping here. It was dusk all night with no trees to help. It was a rough night for all of us.
