WoW! What a day! We can't stop congratulating ourselves on jobs well done.
Didn't rain last night, so we were hopeful for a decent days sketching today... and that we got!
From Loaf Mountain Lookout, where we parked we had a great view of snow capped peaks and a lovely alpine meadow. So we both set to with easels, pastes and cameras.
It seemed that other people just wouldn't stop coming to look at our renderings - including the local sheriff's deputy !
Connie created her first pastel - very nicely done - and I did two pastels.
Sold one AZ. print, and I'll know tomorrow before we leave about my favourite I have done in a long time: BIG HORN - ALPINE MEADOW. That I have a reasonable hope for a sale ($175?) maybe... but it ain't in the bank, until... it's in the bank.
We leave mid-morning for the West, over a mountain pass, towards, wait for it... Ten Sleep! A town? Stay tuned to learn more. Well, it does get cold up here, so ten sleep together (?) Maybe... then again....
