34 | Wellington to Nelson

🇬🇧 We had to get up early this morning to catch our ferry to the South Island. Packed with our bags and all our camping gear we got to the ferry terminal at 7.30am. The ferry ride was calm and uneventful, except for the fact that ferry food is very expensive. Off the ferry and onto the coach at 1pm which took us to Nelson. Here we will be housesitting Obi the dog and Branch the cat for one week. As we're taking some time to recharge and plan ahead there'll be fewer updates for the next few days.

🇩🇪 Wir mussten heute Morgen früh aufstehen, um unsere Fähre zur Südinsel zu nehmen. Vollgepackt mit unseren Taschen und unserer gesamten Campingausrüstung erreichten wir um 7:30 Uhr das Fährterminal. Die Fahrt mit der Fähre verlief ruhig und ereignislos, abgesehen von der Tatsache, dass das Essen auf der Fähre sehr überteuert ist. Um 13:00 Uhr verließen wir die Fähre und stiegen in den Bus, der uns nach Nelson brachte. Hier werden wir eine Woche lang auf den Hund Obi und die Katze Branch aufpassen. Da wir uns etwas Zeit nehmen, um neue Kraft zu tanken und vorauszuplanen, wird es in den nächsten Tagen weniger Updates geben.Leia mais
