Te Anau - Henry Creek Campsite

Heavy rain and high winds caused closed roads to Milford Sound. Lake Te Anau is 3m higher than usual. Flooded sea plane lake shop. Lakeside tracks and park benches underwater.
Stayed at Henry Creek Campsite. Peaceful, no service.
Turned back on highway due to road closure (washout and downed trees), instead did day hike at Boyd Creek, nice forest and waterfall.
Day hike on Kepler track. Flooded out parts but could cut around.Read more
