Slow

Trip not yet began, but the work has commenced.
So far we’ve managed to clean out the boat of some of the thing the old owners had left there, those we took to the 2nd hand store up the road (everything is just “up” or “down the road” in Vliycho), clean, sand and prime the bilge under the saloon and acquire a piece of 3rd-hand, 25 y/o wind vane.
The latter was courtesy of our new friends, our neighbours in the boat yard who live aboard a 41ft Cheoy Lee called Windsong.
She is like an older sister to our boat, so we bonded with the quickly.
We also met Shlomi who’s a genius who plans on sailing to Antarctica on his aluminium boat some day, George the local chandler whom everybody love, and others.
Heading back home to Berlin for the moment, to be continued… :)Les mer
