Driftwood capital. Loved the driftwood design competition on the beach. Some great individual artwork. Also managed to catch the sunset and then two glowworm dells.
Arthur Pass road trip

Lovely drive up Arthur Pass from Springfield. The boulders at Castle Hill are superb and definitely worth a trip back with my rock shoes. Weather cleared up as we drove over for some glorious views.

Road trip from FJ to Wanaka

Another walk today in Mount Aspiring National Park. At last managed to see a Kea. Beautiful scenery and a fantastic walk.
Jetboat ride on the Wilkins river

Speed on the water day. Travelling at 70kph along the river which was in places only about 10cm deep made us very happy today. Well worth doing. The 360 spins were hard to video.

Doubtful Sound

Beautiful day for a cruise along Doubtful Sound. At one stage we stopped and everyone on the boat was quiet for 10 mins so we could listen to the bird song and enjoy the solitude. Fantastic glacialもっと詳しく
Glenorchy

Having driven up from Te Anau we arrived in Queenstown and stopped to watch the shark boats having fun before trundling up to Glenorchy. Stunning scenery. Fun watching the sparrows having a dirt bath.もっと詳しく
