Iceberg Alley

We geared up in special waterproof suits and boots for our kayaking adventure. After a short Zodiac ride we entered a calm bay where we slid into our two man kayaks and took off! Within 10 minutes the winds kicked up, it started to rain, and we were getting cold😩. The seals, penguins and icebergs made it worthwhile. However, after a further ten minutes the guide decided to call us all back to the zodiac and continue our adventure on the Zodiac cruising in and out of the icebergs. We have never been so cold in our lives. By the time we returned to the ship we both had purple feet and hands. Even after a hot bath we continued to shiver for the next hour!!Read more
