Kampong Tralach

We took a 2.5 hour bus ride to Kampong Tralach, a rural village along the Tonle Sap River, where we rode ox carts through the village and to the local temple. Definitely not our preferred mode of transportation!! At the temple we received a blessing from one of the monks.
Lunch was at Smiling Gecko, an organization that runs a school and farm. The food was delicious and the setting very beautiful.
After lunch we stopped in Kok Chen silversmith village, which we reached by tuk tuk from the main road.
Tomorrow morning we're heading out to Siem Reap, a day earlier than planned.Leer más
