Siem Reap - floating village

We took a small boat to visit Chong Kneas floating village, on the shores of the Tonle Sap lake. It is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. The floating village has a school, a Catholic church, restaurants and a market. Most of the residents are fishermen. It was Sunday, so families were relaxing on hammocks and preparing meals.
In the afternoon we visited the Angkor national museum, where many artifacts from Angkor Wat and other temples are preserved.Read more
