A great overnight stop in a family run hotel. The owner drove us a fabulous local restaurant where we had amazing meal. Veal cooked on a heated stone.

A great 10km this morning walking from Fao towards Casa do Afonso. A slow start as I developed some horrible blisters but a great pharmacist in a village was a huge help and we are back on the road.Read more

From a fabulous lunch stop we moved along through villages and into a beautiful forest. Some quite steep climbs but we got to a great cafe for refreshments.
