From Manali to Leh

Welcome to the land of high passes

We go on a journey that I got warned of multiple times: Horrible and dangerous roads, a serious risk for altitude sickness and travelling to a zone of India were health insurance wouldn'd insure. We drive through a military zone - into a military zone.
Maybe this is exactly why we take this bus.
What end up happening? I cry because of the beauty around me.
And I get a headache because of the altitude (and maybe because of serious dehydration).
The part of the altitude was definitely not a lie. And all the other warnings seem to be true as well. I love it.Leia mais
