Explored da town a lil bit. Rothenburg is one of the oldest and best preserved medieval cities in Germany. Lots of neat stuff.

Linderhof Castle

It’s called a castle but more like a palace. Home to the King Ludwig of Bavaria. He was kinda weird not gonna lie. But it was a beautiful stop on the tour, being surrounded by the alps.

Munich

Big day for Munich fans. Took a guided bus tour around the city followed by some free time for shopping and lunch. Went on a guided bike tour mostly through the English Garden(larger than central park) where we saw Munich’s famous surfers and waded into the river along the “beach.” This was followed by more free time for shopping and exploration. Our day ended in a German pub, eating ribs, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes.Read more

A couple hour stop in the italian town of sirimmone. Took a boat ride right around the peninsula, got gelato, went to the beach, and explored looking for a roman villa that ended up being behind closed gates on private property.Read more

big day for Venice fans. ferried to the island of Murano to watch a glass blowing demonstration. from there took another ferry to the island of Burano, where all the buildings are colored vibrantly, for exploration and lunch, for which i had spaghetti alla carbonara (spaghetti with eggs and bacon). after that we took another ferry to the main island of venice, where we took a guided tour, went on a gondola ride, and explored the area with a couple hours of free time. we had to run about a mile from st mark’s square back to our meeting point by our ferry because we weren’t watching the time and were almost late. overall we spent about 10 hours in venice.Read more

Big day for switzerland fans. spent the day in lucenre and on Mt Pilatus. enjoyed the views and multiple different ways of traversing the mountain, including cogwheel train, 2 types of cable cars, and a toboggan ride. in the city of lucerne, we spent plenty of time in the shops where i even picked up an engraved swiss army knife. rained and saw the lion monument and the covered bridge.Read more

We visited the palace of versailles! the experience was riveting! the cafe wait line disappointed me:( the gardens were beautiful and so was the palace! 7/10 do NOT come here.

another big day for paris fans. started off with the fragronard perfume factory tour. self explanatory. from there we headed to the lourve. self explanatory. we only had 4 hours and saw tons of stuff but barely saw the whole museum. from there we headed to dinner in a small restaurant that was almost 150 years oldfrom there we went to a chapel on the highest land point in paris to enjoy the architecture, view, crèpes, and merry go round. that rounded up the last official adventure of my EF tour. later that night we walked to a mcdonald’s drive through at 1am since everyone was staying up all night for their early flight home. hayley, erin, katherine, johvanni, zaniya, emily, amanda, prisha, ethan, and josh made the trip the way that i’ll remember it for the rest of my life. heartbroken to be leaving everyone, especially since we really grew close on this trip and i’m off to college shortly after i get home, but i could not have asked for a better tripRead more

took an uber to meet the fam early in the morning after saying my goodbyes to my friends. later in the morning i tested positive for covid, i had gotten a tiny cold almost a week before but all of that was gone by now so if that’s what that was then i am largely asymptotic. so i just chilled in the hotel for the day.Read more
