Day 78 - Quobba to Nanutarra

Yes, another perfect day. The swell increased overnight, so the waves were huge at the Blow Hole and Lagoon Bay, took some photos, and of course, one at the famous 'King Waves Kill' sign.

We had a couple of hours of flat landscape as far as the horizon, then changed to Red dirt with Sand Dunes like the Simpson Desert, then Rocky outcrops, 1000's of round red ants nests not like up in NT. then some trees, and back to Sand Dunes. Then, in the middle of nowhere is the Nanutarra Road House.

Temperature reached a nice 29°, I love it, Wayne is a little apprehensive about what comes next.

We had planned to stay at the Road House, fill up on water, and watch the State of Origin.....fully booked, so we are in a car park next to Servo. Hopefully they wont throw us out, we aren't the only ones parked here, its not like we are taking business away from them, we will fuel up in the morning and probably have dinner in the Cafe.
