Day 127 - Cooinda

Lazy start to the day. Went for a drive to Jim Jim Billabong, which is also a campsite. Not a good fishing spot, too many trees. Drove out and went down some dirt roads and we found an amazing wetland full of birds.

Kept looking and came across another Billabong, which was perfect for fishing. This is what we pictured Kakadu to look like.

Didn't see any Cros, but you just know they are there lurking under the water. 🐊

Success at the last spot, caught and kept a good 68cm Barra plus a nice tarpon. Then, we went back to the Pontoon and caught two more, which we released.Read more
