    Lagoon breeze villas

    Finally, after all the day, we got to wifi and write some report about our first day here. Great breakfast in the morning, trip to the beach. After the beach finding a situation that needs to be solved transport. Scooter, bus, bicycle? What to choose. We needed their special driver's license for the scooter, our Czech one was not enough. We were afraid that we would have to do tests and a practical exam. But luck smiled, we didn't have to. We have a scooter for the whole week. In the afternoon we went snorkeling in the lagoon. Beauty, Beauty, Beauty. After that, they went to the evening markets at Muri beach. Then walk to a bar for a drink and discover that every Monday they do a local show for only $10. So a clear choice for the program. Because the price of this performance elsewhere ranges from $130-$180 per person.

    Konečně jsme se po celém dnu dostali k wifi a napsat nějaký report o našem první dnu tady. Ráno skvělá snídaně, výprava na pláž. Po pláži zjištění situace, že je třeba vyřešit dopravu. Skútr, autobus, kolo? Co vybrat. Na skútr jsme potřebovali speciální jejich řidičák, náš Český nestačil. Báli jsme se, že budeme muset dělat testy a praktickou zkoušku. Ale usmálo se štěstí, nemuseli jsme. Máme skútr na celý týden. Odpoledne jsme byli šnorchlovat v laguně. Krása, krása a jen krása. Po té se vydali na večerní trhy na Muri beach. Pak pěšky na drink do baru a objevili, že tam každé pondělí dělají místní show jen za 10$. Takže jasná volba na program, protože cena tohoto vystoupení se jinde pohybuje od 130-180$ na osobu.     Snorkeling with turtles and stingrays

    🇨🇰Today is almost like a dream. Waking up in the morning with fear, what we signed up for. At 8 in the morning we went to the agreed place to see Aquaman from the Cook Islands. He explained and showed us everything at the beginning. And then it was down to business. Vulture into the water and look for turtles. We swam with them for 1.5 hours, took pictures and marveled at what we saw. That is probably not even possible. Then came the moment, another encounter with stingrays, a far more beautiful and far more intense experience than petting them in Gisborne. My fear was crazy, but thanks to all the people around, it went away quickly. It was fun.
    After snorkeling, a quick trip to the local markets. A beautiful place in the city full of people with big smiles. We bought some souvenirs and drove back. We spent the afternoon relaxing on the beach, snorkelling and then relaxing by the pool with a drink.

    🇨🇿Dnešní den je skoro jako sen. Ráno probuzení se strachem, do čeho jsme se to upsali. V 8 ráno jsme vyjeli na domluvené místo za Aquamanem z Cookovych ostrovů. Na začátku nám vše vysvětlil a ukázal. A pak už se šlo na věc. Sup do vody a hledat želvy. 1,5h jsme s nimi plavali, fotili se a žasli tím, co vidíme. To snad není ani možné. Pak přišel ten moment, další setkání s stingrays, mnohem krásnější a mnohem intenzivnější zážitek než hlazení jich v Gisborne. Strach jsem měla šílený, ale díky všem lidem kolem, to šlo rychle stranou. Byla to sranda.
    Po šnorchlování rychle na místní trhy. Krásné místo v městě plné lidi s úsměvem do široka. Koupili jsme si suvenýry na památku a jeli zpět. Odpoledne jsme pojali ve stylu odpočinku na pláži, šnorchlování a pak relax u bazénu s drinkem.    Read more

    A normal day on vacation

    Yesterday we were exploring the beauty of the west coast of the island. We arrived at Black Rocks and just stared with our mouths open. The color is unreal. We stayed here for quite some time, took pictures, walked along the beach and relaxed. We snorkeled in the afternoon but we were very lucky. We discovered a free-floating turtle, schools of little fish, simply an underwater paradise. In the evening we visited the local markets again with great food. We took two coconuts on the way back and enjoyed them on the beach at sunset.

    Včera jsme byli objevovat krásy západního pobřeží ostrova. Přijeli jsme na Black Rocks a jen koukali s otevřenou pusou. Ta barva je neskutečná. Zůstali jsme zde docela dlouho, udělali otky, prošli se po pláži a relaxovali. Odpoledne jsme šnorchlovali, ale měli jsme velké štěstí. Objevili jsme volné plující želvu, hejna rybiček, prostě podmořský ráj. Večer jsme znovu navštívili místní trhy s skvělým jídlem. Vzali jsme si na cestu zpět dva kokosy a vychutnali si je na pláži při západu slunce.    Read more

    Amazing day in paradise

    🇦🇺I can't even describe today. What we experienced was something very powerful 😊
    In the morning it started with a luxurious breakfast. Strawberry cake that reminded me of home😢😢 I'm already looking forward to a proper house bun.
    Then a kayak trip to the lagoon. Because the color and visibility of the bottom of the water here is unreal, it can't even be described. After a few minutes we stopped at the first island and a gentleman from Australia tells us that he swam there with a turtle. That we should go around the corner,...we go and nowhere. Don't mind snorkeling, we'll go in the afternoon. Back on the kayak and go around the island from the opposite side. And you vogo ... what the eyes can't see the first turtle. We watched her for at least 15 minutes. Before we moved on and saw two more and then another and another. An amazing experience can be seen even in such a shallow depth. The water was up to my neck in the deepest part.
    For lunch we went to our favorite restaurant right on the beach. They have excellent fish and various seafood, so again a taster of something different than last time. We sit at the table in the back. But hooray, there was a spot right by the railing with a beautiful view. Everyone around with a cell phone in hand.. I say these days are really terrible.. no one is even enjoying the moment here. We sit down at the table.....and now I understand why they have their mobile phones in their hands.
    There are at least 2🥲🥲 Humpback whales behind the water barrier
    They were dancing there, flapping their fins and one of them jumped into the air....how is this not just a dream today? Somebody pinch me.
    We spent the day painting with a local lady 😊 we took away a very nice piece 😁 and finally in the evening the promised snorkeling and 3 big turtles 🥹
    I probably won't even fall asleep from those experiences.
    🇨🇿Dnešní den nedokážu asi ani popsat. To co jsme zažili bylo něco velmi silného 😊
    Ráno to začalo luxusní snídani. Jahodový koláč, který mi připomněl domov😢😢už se těším na pořádnou buchtu domu.
    Pak výprava na lagunu na kajaku. Jakože, barva a viditelnost na dno vody je tady neskutečná, to nejde ani popsat. Po pár minutách jsme zastavili na prvním ostrůvku a pan z Austrálie nám říká, že tam plaval s želvou. Že máme jít za roh,...jdeme a nikde nic. Nevadí šnorchlovat půjdeme odpoledne. Zpět na kajak a objet ostrov z opačné strany. A ty vogo ...co oči nevidí první želva. Sledovali jsme ji min 15min. Než jsme se posunuli a viděli další dvě a pak další a další. Úžasný zážitek je vidět i takto v tak malé hloubce. Voda byla tak mě po krk v nejhlubším místě.
    Na oběd jsme šli do naší oblíbené restaurace přímo na pláži. Mají tu výborné ryby a různé mořské plody, takže zase ochutnavacka něčeho jiného než minule. Sedíme u stolu vzadu. Ale hurá uvolnilo se místo přímo u zábradlí s krásným výhledem. Všichni kolem v ruce mobil..říkám ta dnešní doba je fakt strašná.. nikdo si ani neužívá ten moment tady. Sedáme ke stolu.....a aha už chápu proč mají mobil v ruce.
    Vzadu za vodní barierou jsou Humpback whales minimálně 2🥹🥹🐳🐳
    Ony tam tančily, placaly ploutvemi a jedna vyskočila do vzduchu....jakože toto dneska není jen sen? Štípněte mě někdo.
    Den jsme proložili malováním s místní paní 😊odnesli jsme si velmi pěkný kousek 😁no a večer konečně slíbené šnorchlování a hned 3 velké želvy 🥹

    Last days

    Yesterday was a very relaxing day. Wash things, come up with a program for the next week, a plan for our life and so on. Hanging out on the beach is great for us, I must say.

    Včera byl velmi odpočinkový den. Vyprat věci, vymyslet program na další týden, plán na náš život a tak. Flákání na pláži nám jde skvěle musím říct.Read more

    Last day - Rarotonga cross track

    Today is our last day in paradise. In the morning we went for a luxurious breakfast, which reminds us of sweet home, buns from mothers and grandmothers. Then return the scooter to the capital. And hooray back to accommodation for stuff. We took our way back as usual. We crossed the island through, so a lovely walk of a couple of kilometres. The views are amazing, the humidity in the forest is unbearable. After I fell into the river and wet my flying shoes. I wanted to sit down and sulk, but I couldn't. We came to the main road on the opposite side of the island and the hitchhiking task began. Thanks for taking the bus as hitchhiking is not our forte. Packing and now waiting for the delayed flight.
    Dnes je náš poslední den v ráji. Ráno jsme se vydali na luxusní snídani, která nám připomíná sladký domov, buchty od maminek a babiček. Pak do hlavního města vrátit skútr. A hurá zpět na ubytování pro věci. Cestu zpět jsme vzali po svém jak je zvykem. Přešli jsme ostrov skrz, takže krásná pár kilometrů dlouhá procházka. Výhledy úžasné, vlhkost vzduchu v lese nesnesitelná. Po té co jsem spadla do řeky a namocila si boty, v kterých letím. Jsem chtěla si sednout a trucovat, neprošlo mi to. Přišli jsme na hlavní silnici na opačné straně ostrova a začal úkol stopovat. Díky za to, že jel autobus, protože stopování není naše silná stránka. Sbalit a teď už čekání na zpožděný let.
