    Here it comes!
Mark of the highest tide in 1800's. Pulled down a new bridgeThere it goes

    Tidal bore

    31 Mayıs 2018, Kanada ⋅ ⛅ 18 °C

The Tidal Bore in New Brunswick Canada, occurs along the Peticodiac River near Moncton & Riverview and is a naturally occurring phenomenon that is caused by the surging waters from the Bay of Fundy tides which are the highest tides in the world, that roar up the Peticodiac River twice daily during the changing tides.

The Tidal Bore occurs twice per day and creates a thick wave of water from the higher waters in the bay Bay of Fundy which run up the placid Peticodiac River and roll back upstream in one wave, which can vary in height from 3 cm (1 in.) to 60 cm (24 in.).

Just as spectacular is the rapid and dramatic change in the river itself. At low tide the muddy river bottom is often visible, but within an hour of the arrival of the Tidal Bore, the water level rises some 7.5 m (25 ft.), filling the river to its banks.

Near full moons (blue full moon tonight) the tides are exceptionally strong which create very robust tidal bores that are amazing to witness and now surfers are enjoying riding the wave as it pushes up the Peticodiac River.

    Another Sherbrooke, what a gem

    4 Haziran 2018, Kanada ⋅ ☁️ 7 °C

Stopped for lunch at Bernie's. Lovely salad and the husband and wife hosts treated as all as family. It was like walking into their own kitchen for a meal.
Then a stroll around the historic village.

    5 Haziran 2018, Kanada ⋅ ☁️ 6 °C

Rainy day and no tours operating as no cruise ships in. In tomorrow!
Not even the hop on/hop off bus was working! Went for a rainy walk anyway. Ben was having a layday so he stayed at "home".

    Into the USA

    7 Haziran 2018, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ⋅ ⛅ 12 °C

    On purpose this time.
Foggy start along the St Lawrence River. Crossed over the border at St Stephens- best coffee of the whole trip made by a girl from Cuba. Crossed into Calais then drove the coastal routes. Could have been very pretty but sea fog covered most of the coast. Inland was really sunny. You could see the fog as a bank of cloud.
Met a man and his dog along a walking path to a beach who recommended a scenic drive - Schoodic peninsula byway. Was lovely but still cloudy ⛅.
To Bangor for the night. Big steaks at the Longhorn for tea.

    Back to Montréal

    8 Haziran 2018, Kanada ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

Miss Google took us the shortest route but very scenic this time, through farm, forest, lakes and rivers. We revisited Sherbrooke and drove past Bishop Uni again. Sunnier day this time so looked much nicer. Lunch at Sherbrooke. Then the highway through massive roadworks at Montreal then the rest of the arvo in Sheraton at airport.Okumaya devam et

    25 hours to Australia

    9 Haziran 2018, North Pacific Ocean ⋅ ☀️ 15 °C

Lots of stuff ups that nearly stop us coming home but we make it even if our luggage doesn't. Delayed flights, getting lost in LA airport, tarmac bus delays but we just make it, they were waiting for us.
Lovely to hear Aussie lingo again 🇦🇺
