Cambridge

Unfortunately the reversing camera we wanted for Hazel was not available, so we were able to leave early and head south - arriving in Cambridge in mid afternoon where we stayed for a few days. We were aware things were getting warmer as we came south - happy days.
Rejoined the Camping and Caravan Club and stayed on their site - we chose a pitch in the middle of the site completely unshaded, and soaked up the sun's rays.
Cycled into Cambridge one day and had a good wander round through the old colleges and across Jesus Fields to the river.
Cycled to Anglesea Abbey north east Cambridge to the National Trust (NT) property. Well worth the effort - fascinating collection of artefacts and beautiful gardens and Mill. Great cycle route too.
Fixed the puncture on my road bike and had a thrash around the site - I had forgotten how good a bike it is as I had not been on it for some time.Read more
