Swanage

A couple of nights in Swanage - Acton Field in nearby Langton Matravers. Fabulous views from the campsite over Swanage bay and the Isle of Wight. Alan has to sign off a project he's been working on in the town so stopped by to have a walk along the cliffs.
Carnival week in town - it was very busy.
We walked through Durlaston Park back along the Sout West Coastal path to Dancing Ledge before ascending to have a refreshment at the Kings Head in Langton Matravers. A beautiful walk but very taxing with steep declines and ascents. Very ready for a cold drink at the end. Campsite very busy when we returned - people were turning up and unable to find anywhere to pitch up. A great site that we'll return to sometime.Read more
