    Loch Eil

    May 21, 2019 in Scotland ⋅ ⛅ 14 °C

We travelled down the Great Glen on a cloudy but mostly dry day. The countryside was quite beautiful - there were Canadian Geese on Loch Tarff which was very peaceful. The view of Fort Augusta at the southern end of Loch Ness as we came off the high ground was splendid.
We have pitched up on a campsite by the side of Loch Eil for three nights, a quiet spot on the Loch side close to Fort William. The sun has been shining with a cool wind.
Karen making good progress with the crutches and boot. Can even get to the campsite toilet!!! Things are indeed looking up!!!!!
