Some sheep from the field in front of us. We are so lucky having this scene to gaze upon every day. Every now and again we hear plaintive bleating from a baby lamb who has lost sight of its mother, and then watch as they are reunited again. Beautiful! Yesterday Stella, who owns the campsite along with her husband, came up to the site to cut the grass. We managed to have a conversation with her from a safe distance. She is always concerned that we are OK and do not need anything. She clearly enjoys running this site, and is missing seeing her regular campers who visit this delightful spot. The campsite had been fully booked for Easter (5 hard standings for motorhomes or caravans and 5 camping pitches on grass for tents), but now there is only our home on the site. Stella comes up to clean the facilities and to take our rubbish away each day, and we often see her in her garden as we go out for our daily exercise. It will be good to be able to get close and have a proper chat once this is over.Les mer
ReisendeGlad you have found somewhere where you feel comfortable and so close to nature at such a nice time of the year (and some good weather too !) I try and start up our motor home once every couple of weeks, fortunately the solar panel does a brilliant job of keeping both batteries in good fettle. Enjoy the lambing.
ReisendeCheers. Yes we have landed on our feet here. We will probably stay longer after restrictions are lifted so we can properly see the surrounding area.
