    Tintagel

    September 17, 2020 in England ⋅ ⛅ 15 °C

Waking up to beautiful sunshine was a treat as we had planned a coastal walk to Boscastle. We had it in our heads that this was a quick walk as the distance did not look too great on the map. We were proved wrong - the walk was fabulous - dotting in and out of all the coves and rising to the cliff tops before dropping into the valleys. The sea views were once again beautiful and rugged. We walked over Smith's Cliff, dropped down to Bossinay Haven and Benoath Cove and into Rocky Valley, then rose up again to pass by Trewethett Farm CAMC site (we tried to book in here for our stay but it was full) whch had spectacular views across the coastline.
We stopped by Ladies Window for our lunch prior to descending via the Forrabury Stitches into Boscastle. The views the whole way were stunning and dramatic, every bit of the coastline we have been to in Cornwall has been special.
