We have spent a week out and about the area
Monday - Karen went out for a walk with friends in Chandlers Ford
Tuesday we walked through the woods and into Chandlers Ford
Wednesday was a domestic day.
Thursday was a day supposed to be dedicated to sorting the reversing camera out on the van but that was delayed to another time once again. Water pump failed on van
Friday we walked to Ampfield and enjoyed a pub lunch with Jo and Syd -great company once again.
Big thanks to Syd for lift on Saturday and assisting with picking up replacement pump - in and working perfectly within 30 minutes to our relief.
Sunday we walked through into Ampfield woods which was muddy underfoot but most enjoyable.
There then followed a few days of intermittent rain with dry spells, and we got out for a few walks. We cycled over to see Peter, Charmaine and family - it was great to see them all in such good spirits.
Kirsty brought the car down to us on Thursday, which we were grateful for - we enjoyed a nice lunch at The Olive Tree in Romsey prior to seeing her off on the train back to Bristol.
On Friday Alan was set up with a 72hour ECG monitor which stayed with us for the weekend.Read more
