Day two of our Solent Way walk. The section we completed was between Lymington where we parked the car and Keyhaven Marshes where we got to on day 1.
We parked up by the Monument to Harry Burrard Neale, an Admiral of the Fleet in 1700s which lies on the old family estate. From there we walked westwards through Lymington and out once again across the salt marshes. The weather was dry but there was a stiff breeze.
The bird life was once again feeding on the shoreline and in the marshes.
We returned to the car by a more direct route along quiet roads - out of the wind - and via the main street of Lymington.
