North Baddesley

We used Friday to stock up on food for our proposed visit to Sidmouth over Christmas, leaving just a fresh turkey to purchase before the event.
On Saturday we got the miserable news that due to the virus spreading new covid prevention measures were being implemented, which meant we had to abort all plans. Like many people around the entire UK we will be spending Xmas alone. At least we have plenty of food and drink - and it is only one Christmas. By this time next year we should be back to normal!!!
On Sunday we parked up at the South Winchester Park and Ride and walked via the Hockley viaduct to St Catherine's Hill followed by a walk along the meadows. The weather was beautiful - blue sky and sun. There were many people out and about makng the most of the warm weather. We avoided Winchester city centre, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.Read more
