Mosterton

This was a bleak week weather wise with dark skies, strong winds and buckets full of rain. We did manage to pick out some drier periods and managed to complete our next stage of the Liberty Trail. This took us from Wayford to Thorncombe via Winsham and Forde Abbey across fields and down quiet country lanes. The Abbey was shut to visitors and the path around the rear of the Abbey to the gardens under water due to all the rain. We followed the country lane up to Thorncombe, returning to Wayford via Maudlin Cross and some very soggy fields.Read more
