Milford on Sea

We spent two nights free camping on Salt Lane at Milford on Sea. We checked the tide times before our arrival to make sure we were not going to be flooded out. A really beautiful place to pitch up, and we really enjoyed waking up to the view across the marshes and the smell of the sea. We will definitely return here some day.
There were a few other motorhomers settling down along the strip and lots of people out and about walking along the spit to Hurst Castle and along the coast path to Keyhaven.
We planned out the week ahead and noticed that there were a few days available at a site in Wareham where we could go to over the coming weekend so booked ourselves in for a four night stay. The forecast was predicting beach weather at last.
We walked into Milford on Sea in the afternoon and the next day walked along one of our favourite routes to Lymington via the Keyhaven salt marshes.Läs mer
