Post party chilling - free camp on Redcar stray for a couple of nights.
The sea fret arrives and temperatures drop. Karen's mum and dad had been very lucky for weekend weather for party.

Three nights camping at site by Cod Beck. Wandered up to the lake to find a huddle of goslings, probably about 36 in all with mothers nearby. Very atmospheric around the lake in the mist.

Rosedale Abbey- where there is no Abbey
Moved on to this beautiful spot within the North Yorkshire moors for bit of walking.
Took in Helmsley on the way - market day (no bargains) and its magnificentLeia mais
Back to Redcar for Sunday Lunch with Margaret and Donald and to meet Steve (boyhood friend of Alan's and award winning architect) who was up to discuss materials with his clients.

Stayed here for three nights so we could do some walking on the Cleveland Way coastal section.
Nice walk when we arrived through woods and down to Staithes - lovely fishing village and old harbour.Leia mais
