Melide apparently has some of the best octopus. Pulpo. But I did not try any. 16mi walk. Rained for a few minutes but was nice and cool most of the day - perfect.

ViajeroFantastic, congratulations Chris!!!!!!! What a gorgeous day to arrive. I hope you take the time to go inside the Cathedral, it's well worth your time. Your arrival and hearing the bagpiper, took me back to our experience entering the plaza. Even just walking on the Camino for 10km I found it an emotional experience, imagining what all you pilgrims who walk for days and or weeks must be feeling!!:) So happy for you!
ViajeroI did go inside today. It was pretty cool. I have friends who stood in line for an hour and a half and then attended an hour+ Mass and got to see the Botafumeiro swing! but I did not witness that event.
