  • Lake Pearson campsite

    December 17, 2023 in New Zealand ⋅ 🌧 17 °C

Was going to spend xmas here, but due to not being very keen on the last stop we headed here. So nice here in The mountains, large lake to paddle around in along with fishing. Plenty of trees for shelter from the sun. Says no dogs, but people turn up with dogs, and ranger said maggie was ok as on her lead. The young ducklings are sweet to. Long drop toilets here and non drinking water, no rubbish so pack in pack out.. If you head out on the lake take care as can be hard to get back if the wind picks up.Read more
