If you are in New Plymouth, this is the place to stay, water. Rubbish, some powered dites, and a great happy hour shed. Kev is very helpful as well.

Right on the beach, what more could you ask for, fish you say! Yes that to, Red cod and shark chomped this time here. Not the best spot in strong winds, not that we have struck that.

Nice spot , handy walk to town, good food and service. We are not fans of carparks but other than traffic noise it was fine, wasnt enough to keep us awake. 3 mins drive to the ferrys.

Very nice spot, not much sun this time of the year. We stayed just 2 nights with 1 day/night with full on rain. Good test for our new caravan.

We just love it here, this is our 3rd visit. Not many other campers here being winter and no need to bookin this time of the year. Plenty to do, fishing, walking, photos, on a clear day you can see Czytaj więcej

We have stayed here before but in the cottage as we had work done on our van, but this time we are in our van pluged into power. Got a bit of washing done, $4 a wash $2 for dryer. Clean toilets and Czytaj więcej

Just spent the last few nights here, used the washing machine a couple of times. Was raining when we arrived so the ground is drying out still. Never seen the park so empty.

Due to wet weather we didnt get out for a fish or to explore, but thats ok.
Gravel parking area thats level. There is drinking water dotted around, no rubbish , dump station about 5 mins up the road.

2nd time here, still as good as our frist visit. This is a paid doc camp or use doc pass. There are walking tracks, good fishing beach. There is plenty of room here for mohos, caravans even tents as Czytaj więcej
Nelson North country club, Whapuaka hall

Just a stop over to break up our trip. If you stay at the countey club its $10 per night, behind the hall is freedom. There are lovely clean flush toilets. Pack in pack out. Road noise seems ok.

Just spend another wonderful week here at the pop. The last 3 nights we had diffrent neighbours. We got the lawnmower out (that lives here) put petrol in and mowed some of the lawns, felt good doing Czytaj więcej

Fab spot next to the water ( well when the tide is in), at low tide you can walk all the way out to the waters edge all 1.2 kms. Only 10 mins back to collingwood, not much there, or 5 mins up the road Czytaj więcej

We love this place. No so busy this time of the year. Pack in pack out, water on site, toilets and showers at boat club, however its $4. For a 5 min shower, I got about 2 mins hot water 4 mins of cold Czytaj więcej

Nice restful spot, ruby bay across the road, no fish for us. 😒 stayed 2 nights didnt see anyone, well apart from the sheep and birds and some bunnies.

Canvastown a sweet little spot to stay right behind the pub. Nothing else here. Peasefull little town just out of Havelock. The pub does meals and gets very busy along with the camping area. Just had Czytaj więcej

No pics, nothing much has changed from last time here. Parked on the grass just under the main rd, traffic didnt bother us. For maggie it was nice being away from all the dogs.

Back at Conway Flat, we liked this place last time we stopped here. We went for a fish, this time with the drone, flew out between 200 - 350mtrs only to catch spiky sharks that we put back.
