  • Chilling, sunset, prep sailing + adios

    June 6, 2023 in Colombia ⋅ ☁️ 29 °C

I had an chilled day at the hostel with one German girl (doctor in berlin) and three Belgium people. We played cards, watched the sunset and had some drinks at our pool.

At the next day I had an pre-departure meeting at our boat: The Quest

I will sail with 6 English, 2 Swiss and 1 Swedish people. We will be approximately 2 days only on the boat and then we will stay 3 days at different islands at the San blas Islands. Wow, I am really excited.

I also did some administration stuff (change money, buy alcohol for the trip, packing) and chilled with the Belgium people at the hostel.

After 6 weeks of Colombia it is time to say goodbye to this amazing country.
I really felt in love with the people and the beautiful places here. Everyone is so friendly & helpful. I also recognise, that my Spanish is getting better and better!!

My most beautiful places in Colombia were: Ipiales, salento, Medellin (Guatape), San Gil, Desierto, Costeno beach and the tayrona park.

Also the most beautiful womens I met here in Colombia😉 (also lima & Argentina)

It it also time to say goodbye to South America after 5 months. I had such an amazing time. I felt in love with their enjoyable lifestyle, their music and the insane nature.
    My highlights? To many. Really.
Uyuni, huayana potosi, Machu Pichu, Iguazu falls, salta roadtrip, Nasca lines flight, Amazon, montanita, quilotoa, Cotopaxi, salento, Costeno Beach and tayrona.
I could add a lot of places more.

I would like to go back for Patagonia & brasil & maybe huaraz with Laguna 69.

A few more months are left in Central America!! Wow I could cry how privileged I am and what an amazing time I had here.

Now I will sail in few hours to panama. I will have no Connection.

  • San fucking blas Islands

    June 9, 2023 in Panama ⋅ ☁️ 28 °C

At 7 pm we met at the harbour to get to the boat. After buying the last snacks with the last Colombian peso, we went to our boat: Quest from goehan, our Swedish captain. He owns his boat now over 10 years and he was at the age of 16 on his first boat to work. Crazy dude.

We began sailing (most of the time with engine) at midnight & it was very hard to sleep, because it was very hot inside the boat. I was sleeping in the salon, in my point of view the best place to sleep. The whole trip I had no problems with sea sickness.

We were the first full day on the open water and we chilled at the boat & slept also. The current was the whole time very good.

At that day on the open sea we had the best sunset on our trip. We also saw dolphins, but unfortunately not close to our boat.

At the second day we arrived at the San blas island at 5:30 to sunrise after only 30h on the open sea.

The San blas island are known from “Haus des Geldes” and there are 365 island with different sizes. A fee had only 2-3 palm trees on it.

Then we began snorkelling and we had seen a baby shark & chilled in the island.
The next 3 days we snorkelled two times a day and we had all the time delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ate Lobbater, which was delivered at the morning on our boat.

On the next day we went to another islands where I had the best snorkelling time ever.

The water on the San blas islands were so blue and during snorkelling I was able to see 15-20m down!

We also drunk coco loco (coconut water with rum).

At the last full day we were able to stay longer on an island, where we found also very big shells!! Also to see a new palm tree growing out of an old coconut was amazing.

I am so fucking enjoyed the last 6 days and it was without internet connection an indescribable experience. Wow I was on the heaven in earth and I so fucking enjoyed it.

(6 exmigration, 11 immigration, so I have been illegally on the San blas island hehe🤪)

(Julia, Lea, Liz, Kiara, James, Nah, michael(sniper haha), Felix ), amazing people

Another big highlight of my journey!!

Now I am staying 5 nights in Panama City and then I am flying to Guatemala City on Saturday the 17.
